The site is a work in progress

April 20, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Hello all -

I do apologize for the lack in communication and new posts over the past few months. I have been touching base with AE and his family about setting up an online venue for selling his work, and we should be finalizing communication this Spring.

I will also be in contact with the OU Art Department to find an intern or assistant who may be able to scan work en masse to load on the website. I know that everyone is hungry for more, and it will come, however currently my schedule does not allow for me to take the time necessary to scan and post frequently, but I’ll do my best to post weekly moving forward.

If anyone is interested in assisting, please let me know and I will be glad to distrbute access to trusted parties who can create new posts using scans of his original art and.or video/audio from this classes.

Thanks,

Clay

More Art and Store Coming 2009!

December 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Hello All,

Yes, it’s been a while, but I have come to a place where I can continue to work on the AE Project, creating blog posts, scanning artwork, photographing AE, his class and his work as well as creating an online store to sell both prints and originals. I am working in collaboration with a few of his family members to do this.

So, to see more and to purchase a piece of AE’s work, come back in January and we’ll have some more content.

Thanks,
Clay

A past “style”?

June 28, 2007 · Leave a Comment

The upper left corner reads: Dastum Ends Reach for Touching Ends And Fillers Pine to Fill

According to AE, the artworks are not as much different styles over time, but an evolution… an evolution of what? Just know that the works are not suggestions of how to live your life, better youself, get closer to God, or anything of the sort, they are an evolution of writing and art.

Siegfried Hall – Office Door

AEthelred’s office door, in it’s fourth (at least) generation… vandals sometimes deface the artwork and he repaints when he can, this edition remains untouched for now.

A Visit with AE

June 27, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Today I sat in on a 2 hour class and then traveled to Golgonooza with AEthelred. I will soon be posting images of Golgonooza as well as complete books and works of art on this blog site. AEthelred is excited about the correspondence the site has received thus far and is interested in selling pieces, books as well as writing back if you wish to contact him through the mail or the blog.

Other than that, I can honestly say that it was one of the most interesting afternoons of my life, I spent hours one on one with Eldridge. I will be telling the story, and more, through posts and documentary work on the site in the near future.
